Chapter 49 Shadow Elf Belphegor
[You have leveled up to level 52. You have received five stat points and one skill point]
'Well. That was pretty easy.' Xander thought with a smile as he turned around.
"She'll probably be curious now." Xander looked at Hannah who still had a confused expression on her face.
'Should I do it or should I just leave it,' Xander thought as he looked at the elf and back to Hannah.
'Whatever. I'll explain later.' Xander turned back and faced the reaper.
"I think I need to stop calling you Reaper, your race changed," Xander said as he looked at his first demon partner.

"It would be my honor to be named by you, my lord." The lich kneeled and bent its head down.
Xander smirked as he dwelled on the feeling of being the boss. He was like a demon lord in the animes, raising his demon army.
As he thought about the lich he immediately went back to think about how prideful the demon was.
'He didn't call me master back then. Must be pride. Didn't a demon from the fantasies have pride also...' Xander thought hard.
Hannah had enough now, she walked towards Xander as she saw the skeleton kneel in front of him.
'He's about to be attacked. That creature will raise its weapon and... no, he must be compelled. I have to save him.' She approached from behind slowly and quietly.
...
"Lucifer. That shall be your name from now on." Xander said as he gestured for the reaper to stand up.
"Thank you, My lord." The reaper sounded happy and excited.Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Previously when he summoned the reaper he could feel that it was sad and angry and Xander couldn't help but trace it to Satan.
'He must have been jealous that I gave Satan a name.' Xander waved his hand to dismiss the reaper.
Thays when he saw a bright orange light coming from behind him. The reaper turned into red flames and a fireball immedpassed through it and hit the cave walls behind.
Xander turned to see Hannah running towards him with her staff and she had a worried expression on her face.
Xander looked back at the skeleton of a creature that got destroyed by the fireball. He looked at his mind scythe on the floor where the destroyed bones were and sent it back into his soul.
'I have so many questions about arcanas. I hope dad's alright.' Xander thought before a voice interrupted him.
"Are you okay, Xander?" Hannah ran past him and looked around in confusion.
"I didn't get any message of killing it." She mumbled while Xander had his palm on his face.
"Don't try to kill my... subordinates again," Xander said to her. He can't let her attack his demons when he summons them, things have to be made clear.
"What are you talking about?"
"That creature is one of my... puppets. I got a puppet master class." Xander said with confidence. 'Thank goodness puppet masters are famous as classes.'
The puppet master class was very known. Although Xander never played as one, he let Harry tell him all that a puppet master can do.
"But that wasn't on the list of classes." Hannab furrowed her brows.
Xander smiled bitterly.
'This girl. Why do you have to be so curious?'.
"It's a unique class that I got. The creatures I kill will be able to become my puppets." Xander said as he walked towards the headless body of the elf.
Hannah walked closer to him to witness what he was doing.
[Do you wish to demonify, the level 61 elf prince?]
[Yes] | [No]
Xander clicked yes and a bright red flame burned the elf in front of him. The flame soon changed into a purple color which stunned Xander.
[Merging bloodline...]
[Congratulations, you have created a demon. 'Shadow Elf']
The purple flames subsided to reveal the elf prince closing his eyes. When he opened his eyes Xander took note of the differences.
The elf's sclera was now black and his pupils were purple. His black hair had turned into a dark purple and he now had claws.
'Haha. All my minions are level 50 and above.' Xander laughed inwardly.
"Thank you, My lord." The elf got on his knees.
"I didn't kill you so you gave to honor your side of the deal," Xander said, making the shadow elf raise his head and nod.
The elf promised to become his loyal servant if Xander spares him and well, Xander didn't forget it at all.
Not that the elf has a choice now. They were now linked and the elf can't betray or hurt him in any way, and instead, he will listen to Xander's every instruction.
"Wow. Your class is so cool." Hannah said with sparkly eyes as she stared at the once prideful elf on his knees.
"I had a name for you ever since we fought," Xander said and Hannah looked at him with a raised brow.
"Belphegor. That shall be your name."
The shadow elf stood up. He was taller than Xander by two inches. "It is my honor."
"The name is weird. How about Victor?" Hannah said.
The elf shot her a glance and his eyes glowed a bright purple as he emanated killing intent.
Hannah shivered unconsciously as she stepped behind Xander.
"For now I'll have to dismiss you. My plan is coming to an end soon." Xander said and a red flame burned the elf and took him to Xander's soul space.
"Puppet master class. I'm jealous." Hannah said as they walked back to the makeshift camp that wasn't too far away.
"How am I lucky?" Xander was confused.
As Hannah saw him summon the reaper and now Revive the elf she had an idea of what he can do. Plus, he was good with his spear so she knew how great he was.
"You have the power to summon high-level creatures under your control. I hope you don't mind my curiosity." Hannah smiled.
Xander smiled inwardly as he thought that this was his chance.
"I mind your curiosity a lot. I like to do my things alone. But, since you're pretty strong I can behave myself and not abandon you." Xander shrugged.
Hannah gasped as she heard his words. "So if I wasn't strong you will leave me here."
"Yup."
Hannah gasped again.
"You're so heartless," Hannah said. 'And hot.' She thought inwardly while staring at Xander's face.
They both got to their camp and Hannah continued with her questions about how he was good at fighting.
When he told her he learned from the reaper she couldn't believe it. If it was her she wouldn't even bother fighting with the damn reaper.
They ate and rested and then they continued hunting, increasing both of their levels but mainly Hannah's.
"Finally! Level 50!" Hannah exclaimed happily.
They both lost track of time in these caves. Hannah was lucky enough to get an item from a monster, a rare one at that.
"You've increased by 15 levels. What do you say we go back to the labyrinth? It's time we left this damned cave."
What do you think?
